INTRODUCTION

Studio505’s versatility ranges from large signature façades and super tall building innovation to finely detailed engineering geometries.  Our expertise and energy ensures we extract the absolute best from a brief, for delivery to our clients.  Our studio often collaborates with other designers, artists and consultants resulting in a vast realm of possibilities that we are then able to execute with an innovative and sophisticated resolution.

The practice directors, Dylan Brady [previously Project Architect at LAB, Melbourne] and Dirk Zimmermann [previously Associate of Atelier One, London] have worked together for over 12 years, after meeting whilst designing the facades, glazed foyers and atrium structures on Federation Square, Melbourne. Their work together as studio505 includes the World Expo 2005 Australian Pavilion, the signature facades to Suzhou Science and Cultural Arts Centre, and other significant and intriguing projects across the globe.

We are an independent consultancy with no commercial affiliations with any suppliers or contractors. Our designs are focussed entirely on achieving the best outcome for our clients aesthetically, operationally, and with particular regard to total cost of ownership.
